Who We Are: The Art Mentorship Society of Alberta (AMSA for short) is a non-profit art wellness organization that provides crucial access points for emerging artists in Edmonton, Alberta
Our Mandate: AMSA exists in order to remove barriers to art creation, by provide individuals access to quality, low or no-cost programs. We seek to empower participants to create in a supported environment, develop skills and connect to their community through art. Above all, we believe that artistic expression is a critical element to the mental health wellness of our members and society.
Our Vision: We see Edmonton as a vibrant place to grow; where individuals can feel safe to express and connect as a part of a diverse cultural collective. We aim to add to the greater image of our city and the arts, by supporting expression and creation, which play a role in the health and wellness of our society.
